Celts

And for my third exciting day out in what has ended up being quite a busy week I went to see the Celts exhibition at the British Museum. I met up (eventually) with my friends Katie and Trudi at Waterloo following various cancelled and missed trains. Fortunately, despite being an hour late for our exhibition slot we were still allowed straight in when we got there and spent a mainly pleasurable couple of hours learning all about the Celts and marvelling at their culture and artistry. I say 'mainly' because there were times when the volume of people going round resulted in a bit more queuing and polite waiting to see exhibits than I care for. Goes with the territory though and we were late arrivals, of course. We spent the rest of the day eating, drinking and chatting. A lovely day out at my favourite museum.
