Cromer Pier from the East Promenade

There was a fantastic light and an chill edge to the wind as we walked on Cromer beach. Very refreshing and invigorating. We went on to the Art House Cafe to meet our friends K and C for a coffee and cake and then on to the Regal Cinema to see Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander in The Danish Girl. Beautifully filmed and acted, a moving but harrowing film. Not an easy watch so wait till you are feeling resilient. We saw a DVD recording of 45 Years last night - about a painful secret uncomfortably revealed shortly before a 45th wedding anniversary celebration - well acted and shot in Norfolk, so we recognised several of the locations: but again, a difficult watch. So it was lovely to come home to a slow cooked beef casserole which HL had put on to cook before we went out, and a glass of red wine. Ready to take on the world again, now...
