Despite the rain at the start of our bird watching day, it was a great day out to Roshin Point, Gweebara Estuary, only 8 of us, but 3 new to the group. Amongst the highlights of the species were these Sanderlings, one of my favourite waders, Turnstones (my extra), small groups of Brent Geese, Redshank, Greenshank, Bar tailed Godwits, Shelduck.
Also, amazingly some of the common seals were porpoising, maybe showing off, but they were too difficult to catch on camera.
