Brave New World
The main reason why we went to Prague with my sister and my nephew was a modern art exhibition in DOX which is ending this month. Its modern artifacts were inspired by three books written by George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, and Ray Bradbury. The exhibits made us think about dictatorships, state surveillance, freedom, genetic engineering, designing babies, technologies, commercials, etc. endless food for thought.
The picture shown my family climbing out of the plastic tube hanging under the ceiling on the second floor.
Before the exhibition visit we went to Govinda for an Indian thali and then we accommodated ourselves at Loretta monastery. We had dinner at the nearby Little Buddha and had a walk to a spectacular view of Prague in falling snow. It was a special day.
