Paradise by way of Stoke Newington

A couple of months ago I got talking to a guy in Borough market about saving hedgehogs after which I found myself sponsoring the London Wildlife Trust.

As a thanks they invited a few of us  to have a private view of Woodberry Wetlands, a new nature reserve which is being constructed in North London. It was enchanting and unexpected in the middle of London. 

Due to open to the public in April, entrance will be free of charge as the build has been largely paid for by the property developers working on high rise living accommodation to the north of the reservoir.
