Sandia mountains

Albuquerque, NM 

       Up at 04:30 this morning for the drive to New Mexico on roads covered with packed snow  as far as El Malpais when the roads cleared and the temperature rose twenty degrees to 35°F (1.6°C).  Kathy came too and we lunched at a highly popular Indian buffet restaurant.  Kathy is flying to Florida tomorrow, (by way of Denver), where she and her sister and brother-in-law will have a fun week in Orlando.

       Roads all clear coming home.
