Family day

My mother passed away two years ago ,and today we spread her ashes out at sea off the coast near Coromandel where we used to live when I was younger.

We went out from Waiheke in one of my brothers boat and went across the Hauraki Gulf to the spot where mum had asked for us to put her.
It felt such a peaceful thing to do , she would have loved to know my two brothers, the grand children and I were doing it .
My Dad came to , even though it has been over 25 years since they divorced .
First time for ages that we have all been together actually.
And then on the way back we had some laughs, put the fishing rods out , went swimming and my younger brother , a born entertainer kept us laughing with his humour.
Every one is exhausted now .
