Sailing again

More sailing at Grimwith which today seemed to escape the bad weather everywhere else. It was really quite pleasant with excellent sailing conditions.On taking this shot I wondered about the mindset of the various authorities who would prefer to let beautiful buildings like these in the Dales go to wrack & ruin rather than let people develop them. Ok , so it may mean a car or two in the distance, but what cost a sensitively renovated farmhouse and barn?
