Good Times in Singapore

Definitely one of the most chilled out days of the trip.

Despite the early start (the hotel in KL gave us a wake up call at 3.52am for a taxi at 5am) we arrived safely in Singapore. After arriving at the impressive Marina Bay Sands hotel ( the one with the boat on top of three towers in this photo) we were told we had been upgraded and could check-in that very morning.

The room was fantastic and the view over the garden was much better than the view from the city side in my opinion. After quickly checking out the roof pool we wandered around the streets of Singapore and ended up at Raffles where we of course had a (non-Singapore) sling.

Checked out some museums and walked around the city some more. Had some wine and cheese at another bar which happened to be in 5* hotel and started what we now call the 5* bar crawl which was done for the rest of the day with a quick break to check out the supertree forest light show and a slightly tipsy exploration of the rest of the Gardens by the Bay.

All ended with a great sleep in an amazingly comfy bed!

So comfy.

Sorry for the long post. Just wanted to write down how nice a day it was in case of memory loss. :)
