It's oh so quiet.......

After the snow yesterday, it continued well,into the night...it was still snowing gently when we went to bed, s'now surprise it was a white out this morning :-)

Don't you just love it when you wake up, you can tell, even through the curtains that it's snow covered outside, and how eerily quiet it all seems.......other than children's excited voices, of course ;-)

We got wrapped up and went for a walk to our farm shop for fresh eggs for brunch, with wholemeal toast.......and obviously I wanted to get out with my camera too!

This is one of the first shots I took.....it's the path from our house up to the top road. Hub chose it as it has more impact than some of the more distant landscapes I took.

Just settling down to watch my team on TV.....we've just a few more flurries come down, although it did seem to be thawing already by the time we got back from our walk. Hope it doesn't freeze tonight otherwise those off to work early in the morning could be in for an eventful journey :-/
