Giant Space Fish Invade London
Well, not quite, but it was a mildly alarming sight at first.
Instantly regretted not staying out to photograph the Lumiere Festival last night as London was rammed this evening. Arms outstretched with mobile phones or selfie sticks attached to mobile phones, the odd camera here and there and a few dedicated souls with tripods.
Dad and a friend from work, Jody, joined me. Eddie chickened out, again.
Was hoping for a little blip meet too, but didn't quite co-ordinate our routes.
Got as far down to Trafalgar Square before we all decided we we feeling too tired and achy to carry on.
Truly a wonderful festival though and we barely saw a quarter of it this evening.
Absolutely loved the giant flowers in Leicester Square, the dancing stickmen in Regent Street and these giant floating fish.
Planning to go again after work tomorrow and see Westminster Abbey amongt others.
Highly recommended. Also wish London streets were traffic free more often.
