What Sundays are for
It's been a pretty good day so far. First snow of the winter last night (honestly, there must have been almost an inch of the stuff; how we'll all cope I really don't know). We had Craster kippers and home-made brown bread for breakfast and then out for a good long walk. It's a walk we do quite often, circular, mainly across fields and very quiet; clearly the only things that had beaten us across the snow were deer, rabbits and pheasants. Then to the village pub for Sunday lunch, followed by an afternoon of starting to plan our next holiday. It's based around a tour we've done before but we want to make some changes including one very major one, but it will all depend on the cost of one-way and inter-connecting flights etc. Hopefully, we won't have to rob a bank to pay for it.
