Pevensey Castle

We woke up to a sprinkling of snow.  After debating whether or not to go for a walk we braved the elements and were very glad we did.
Pevensey Castle was originally a fort built by the Romans, and called Anderida.  In the 11th century the Normans built a moated castle within the fort walls.
