Candle in the Wind(ow)
The best laid schemes o' mice an' men gang aft agley and so they did today. A return visit to Glen Roy had been on the cards, but after a snowy drive up the A9, I arrived in a white Roybridge. The main road was getting covered in snow, and taking heed of Stuart's kind advice and decided on Plan B. (After a delicious homemeade Empire biscuit from cakescakescakes and a chat), I headed to Lock Arkaig.
The road was interesting and by the time we parked the car there was a good 10cm of snow on the ground with flakes still falling. Not sure the car would get out again.
Off we went to Invermallie bothy for a night in front of the fire. See extras for the view when we arrived (and the snow had stopped).
