Lazy day
It's Sunday, we managed to convince the child to go back to sleep at 5.30am, which felt like a minor miracle and we slept until gone 7 - unheard of these days.
All in all, it's been a pretty quiet day - the final preparations for the parents arriving in three days (not that we're excited) - the part time maid is quite happy about the guests as her three days a week has increased somewhat. We have suggested that her daily productivity could also increase, but she already has learnt the wonderful African lesson - you're on someone else's time, so why do anything fast.
We've had two days of glorious cool weather. Once upon a time, the idea of glorious weather would have meant bright sunshine, cloudless and lovely warm weather. These days it means cool, jeans and a long sleeve top, a breeze and maybe some clouds.
The picture is of a pupil at Maqaqeni school - the day having been so quiet that I failed to get my picture, but also I thought this was a great picture.
