The manager at Achaderry has an artistic eye and the skill and the dexterity with saws and chisels to realise his visions There are several of these pieces scattered around the Achaderry woodland and I personally never get tired of looking at them.
It seems offesive to point a camera at one and walk away with an image after about one second given the hours he put in to the creation.

Today we met Am Bioran, Blip friend and fellow hill walker. He is more mountain athlete than hill walker in truth. He called in past on his way to another mountain adventure in our area today. It was good to have a blether about various outings but I shivered at the very thought of his intended overnight point of refuge . He very kindly brought me a wonderful and thoughtful gift which I will talk more of tomorrow.
