On thin ice.....

The chase was on, this poor swan was pursued around the pond relentlessly by this cob. Fortunately, for the most part he was able to run on the ice, while his attacked ploughed along in the freezing pond behind him.
My extra pic is one pf the bully landing on his return to the pond having seen the younger swan off.
