Snowy Stack..
Ben Stack covered with snow. Ben tack is the mountain that Robin Cook, the Labour MP lost his life on. He suffered a heart attack as he started to descend from the summit. It's a nice mountain, with it's iconic mountain shape, a steady slog up, and grand views from the top on a clear day.
Quite a bit of snow on the hills, but nothing at low level. It has been cold again though with "permafrost", and another low temp of -2 deg C. It was a bit of a job digging parsnips. The top inch or two was solid, and once this layer was removed, the parsnips were easy to dig.
A walk along the beach with Tanns, and a run in N's park. She found ice covered puddles which confused her a bit, and some which bore her weight..
Quite like the second shot of the cliffs on Handa Island too..
