Looking towards High Crag, High Style and Red Pike

I'd planned another day out today, but with the amount of snow, wanted to keep the distance down a bit. Drove to Honister quarry (yes, the road was gritted) and did Brandreth and Grey Knotts (Wainwright 122 and 123) I was going to do Base Brown again but the snow was over knee-deep much of the way and at the summit of Brandreth it started snowing again, and thought better of pushing too hard. Good job too, as I was pretty whacked by the time I got back to the car, and Honister pass had a fresh coating of snow on the road - I wouldn't have fancied driving it a couple of hours later.
