Snow on the field

It was so pretty the snow had settled on the trees and been frozen there. The dogs went loopy in the snow last night and today, I often wonder why they act so oddly, racing round in it.  It was a bit milder at first but came in very cold later in the day. Shame the snow didn't get deeper and last I know the kids were longing to go sledging.
