Patriot's Point, Charleston

This statue is of a grieving woman whose son/daughter/brother/mother/father/husband has made the supreme sacrifice to protect this country.  It is a magnificent statue that expresses such emotion and devotion.  It is in the Patriot's Point Memorial.
   The extras are of the USS Yorktown, a living memorial to the men of WW11, the pillars around the memorial that have the words of honor and commitment to this country, a plaque that has President Regan's words embolden in bronze, and the beautiful seagrass that is found in the lowlands around Charleston.
