Bench for the Birds

This old wobbly bench was dragged home from a dumpster by The Husband a few years ago. After it had sat out in the weather doing nothing for about a year, I dragged it over in front of the house where it could serve as a landing zone for birds coming in to sample the buffet. It is quite derelict - which is to say, you'd be ill-advised to try to sit on it. But it serves its purpose very nicely and rather prettily!

And yes - we actually had a bit of snow this morning - the first of the entire winter. And it's all gone already [which is fine with me]. The extra is more of a snow scene.
