Colour from the Garden

Back Blip..

We arrived at Akaroa a 3.30pm yesterday. The Real Estate agent was there to give me the keys for my holiday day home.

The trip over was good as there was hardly any wind on Banks Peninsula. The warm wind had changed to a cooler Southerly and it was very pleasant. It took a while to set up the bed which was in the garage but apart from that, all was really good. The house was just about spotless so no cleaning was needed.

Both boys and a partner come over with one things for the house. Now I have a TV and a stereo. They were helpful with getting a few more things set up.

This Hydrangea is one from my garden here in Akaroa. Because the it has been so dry up until last night when it rained all night, the garden is looking rather dry and over grown with weeds. It has rained off and on all day.
