Rose-ringed Parakeet(female)

I was on a working trip(School outside events photographer)and stopping off for lunch in the park, this beautiful female Parakeet waddles up and asks for a share of our lunch! She was very partial to some fruit salad and was so tame, while I was talking about birds to the teachers and showing them by birds on Blipfoto, she flew up onto my shoulder and had a look too! Did my reputation as a bird of a twitcher no harm and I was very happy she liked me, what a lovely experience. If you look at the metadata you will see this is taken on my work camera, which is a Pentax K5 and has millions of earning shots to its sensor, but they are not normally of birds!
