A lovely evening

Is what this chap said to me as he walked past.  He said he was going to surf until he couldn't see his hand because it was so good.  It was nice to be out for a sunset.  I went to Newcastle beach but before having a pootle around with my camera I walked the two in the extra. 

We didn't get far because the Princess was distracted by what was going on around her and her first time at the sea not to mention the people who wanted pats (all good for socialising).  She has been possessed this afternoon stirring Hamish up  running underneath him and biting him on the stifle (hey what did you think I was going to type?).  She has also been digging, standing in the water bowl and generally giving big Ted (large toy teddy bear) a very tough time.   Hamish has been very tolerant but I could see it all ending in tears before bed time so took them out.
