January Journal Quilt

I am once more making my monthly journal quilts for the Contemporary Quilt Group of the Quilters' Guild. They set the size for 2016 at 8 x 10", portrait orientation and also added the requirement that for the first 4 months of the year the pieces should included a piece of purple fabric at least 1/2" square.
