Lapwings

Not the best weather conditions for photography ..... very damp with poor visibility.

The loch was frozen in some areas and the rather watery ice was the resting place for the lapwings who had left their usual spot on the rocks at the edge of the loch. The picture is not sharp (birds too far away) but I felt it was worth including because it's not a view I see very often.

After my trip to the loch I took my camera for a bit of repair .... there is a grain of sand or other foreign body on the lens and the blemish is spoiling many of my photos. The repair is not cheap but I should get the camera back within the week unless it needs a new part. I do have another small camera but it's not my trusty, reliable Panasonic.
