....the boss of me now......
The Boss......in typical pose....although she doesn't usually allow any one to take her photo....but tonight she called me outside...."Take a picture", she demanded....so I did.
I think I know why she was in such an accommodating mood...............
Woke up at 06.00 this morning to bright sunshine....and it stayed that way all day!
Picked up Shaun at 07.00 and we set off to the venue for the Junior North west Angling Championship....which once again we were organising.
Got a text over breakfast informing me that the 12 pupils I had selected and entered into the town Science and Technology competition ( even though I wasn't allowed to go with them) had won ...and are now going on to represent the town in the Regional final next term!
Full English breakfast...table set up....42 children plus assorted parents and coaches arrived....draw at 09.00....4 hour match started at 10.00.
Match over at 14.00.....weigh in finished by 15.00.....then the pressure was on me to identify the top 10 anglers....calculate the points for all 42 kids and each section of 7 anglers....then calculate the points for each team. All with about 80 or 90 people milling round wanting to know individual scores, who'd won, which team had won!
Our club had three anglers in the top 10....3rd,4th and 10th.....so they all got medals. The points for the team competition are awarded according to positions of individuals in each section....we came second....missing out by two points!
Home......enter the results into the computer....send them out to all interested parties.........edit over 100 photographs....back blip yesterday......comment ....post this. Now all I have to do is sort my gear for my match tomorrow....no doubt the rain will be back.....Shaun and I have a secret weapon....mussels for bait! Will let you know how it goes!
I love it when the weather's good....the day is full.....and there's one or two positives!
