It snowed!

OK, by the standards of almost everywhere else, it hardly qualifies, but it's unusual enough to be recorded. I was sceptical about the forecast, but had to eat my words when it started snowing at about ten and didn't stop till 5 p.m. It's kind of settled, but only as slush; not terribly picturesque. It will probably be gone tomorrow. Snuggled by the fire, I decided I couldn't face driving into Narbonne and back in the dark on ungritted roads with a load of drivers who think there is no need to adapt how you drive when there's snow on the ground. So it's an evening at home, at least some of it continuing the 36-hour process of making sourdough Chelsea buns (second attempt, different recipe from the first). We may be able to have some for breakfast tomorrow.

And, great news! Have a look at BlipCentral's latest post. I have a couple of concerns about the new plan, but it's wonderful that the period of uncertainty is over and planning for the new Blipfoto can start in earnest.

Edit: and in another lovely surprise, SarumStroller popped in to wish us well :)
