Play dates

We walked to school this morning. Unusual for a morning and very unusual for a Monday! It's a nice way to start the day though, we should do it more often.

Me and A then came straight home to wait for a fire alarm testing man. We played and tidied up a bit then set about making some biscuits for P's first after school play date. A was very good at mixing, stirring and decorating. The biscuits looked yummy.

P has been so excited to have a friend come and play. We all walked home together and I think the girls ran most of the way. Once home they ran upstairs to play with P's dolls. I only saw them when they came downstairs asking to play with the play doh.
Lily's mum then arrived with her older sister and stayed for a little while too. Everyone had fun. Even A was joining in and loved chasing the girls round and round the coffee table.
