Doomed ?

These three hyacinths were given to my 'Ancient Aunt' for her birthday in December. The instructions said to keep them in a dark place until they were a certain height. Unfortunately she didn't keep the instructions and she is now in hospital.
So, I am in charge of these poor things - and I have the reputation of being able to kill artificial plants - indoor plants always die!!
They will stay on the kitchen windowsill where I might remember to water them from time to time.
IF they by any chance survive and bloom I will photograph them - but don't hold your breath !
