On the farm.....

As I took a walk today I ran across this mural painted on the side of the overpass. A traditional farm scene:
A watch dog
A pig
A cat doing what cats do...

I thought about taking a photo of a traditional truck drivers lunch but the times they are a changing. This is for the good. When I first started driving everything was deep fried. You could have all your vegetables, chicken, burritos, fries, just about everything deep fried and of course wash it down with aa 44 ounce soda.. These meals were cheap compared to salads or sandwiches...

But then the industry started to change. Drivers became no longer a dime a dozen. Companies found out they lower health cost with carrots instead of chips. They added exercise rooms and now more and more truck stops carry healthy alternatives or heart smart foods as they like to call them.

Nice relaxing day feeding the birds, a long walk, and seeing that blip has been saved... They still want / need donations though to make sure that the bills will be paid and to keep the lights on....
