Cirque du Ibiza
A good start to the day, studying Ephesians 4 with our community...a challenging and encouraging time...
Then this afternoon Asha and I made jelly plus a peanut butter/chocolate rocky road (I'm about to sample a bite with a cup of tea), after which we were straight off to her friends to go for a free trial class at a new circus school! They had the kids doing all sorts!! Swinging round and down ropes,or whatever they're called, on trapezes...amazing!! Asha enjoyed the floor work most, think she was nervous in the air (I would be too!)...have added an extra of her first attempt mastering the ropes...and a second of her amazing friend she was a natural!
Then home to briefly make dinner, and out again to the Language Exchange. Met some new and lovely people, and had some interesting conversations.
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Blip being saved - SUCH wonderful news!! I said to a blip friend last night, each time I see a friends photo come up, I feel like I have a little gift to open!!
2) Discovering how much Asha enjoy acrobatics...loved seeing her throw herself into something.
3) Spending time chatting to a woman tonight I've previously found difficult...but tonight, we just managed to hit it off, and I've come away from the evening actually really liking her and feeling we've got past that initial lack of 'click'!! Love that things can turn around.
