Black on white

The woman in the red coat with the red cap and rose cheeks said; 
"Don't you think the trees are beautiful with this white branches?"
"Yes."
"You can't see them anywhere else in the town ... just here." 
"I know."

With frozen fingers and very cold feet I watched the sun go down behind the mountains. Cold air and still weather and warmer sea equals frost fog ... that came and went during the day. Running or driving back and forth trying to get a good photo of this weather phenomenon was hard. The frost fog disappeared and some minutes later appeared somewhere else. 

I decided to wait for it to return.
