Summer in the city

A busy day in the end. Started with collecting my nephew from the bus station, as he had come from Whangarei in order to collect the old Nissan Tino which has sat unused for a while. Too old to fetch a price worthy of its actual value, but surplus to requirements within the family at present. He and we have agreed a price and he will manage the rest of it all.

Then a blood test, an appointment with the speech and language therapist followed by one with my surgeon. In the middle dropped off some documents to the accountant for sorting the tax.

By late afternoon I had not taken either camera out of its bag, and had no photo. Went to Ponsonby Road, and walked up and down for a short distance, and then went and sat on a park bench at the top of Western Park watching the passing parade. At 1745, it was post work. Some people were using the Link Bus (one seen here), and others walked.

The hot sun reminded of many previous summers, including the summer of 1966
