Abbie the dog

Here is Abbie, my Labrador retriever who has one of the most solemn expressions of any animal I have ever met.  She could have had a plate of the most delicious food or a bowl of boring old biscuits - either way she will look glum and a bit depressed.  A long walk is usually met with a reproachful 'four miles is ok but we could have done 8' look - her default position seems to be that a bit of a miserable face never did anyone any harm.  In this photo she looks positively cheerful!!! And it does show off her lovely soft eyes
