Chinese New Year...
The first blip I ever did was of the Chinese lanterns put up in St. Ann's Square in Manchester two years ago. If I'd got my act together I could have gone into the city and taken pictures of this year's lanterns for my second anniversary. Or, as someone suggested, I could have written '730' in the snow on the top of my car in the picture I used for that day. But I didn't do either as I didn't know it was going to happen. Maybe next year I'll be better organised? Probably not.
So here are this year's lanterns, brightening up a dull, January day in Manchester against the backdrop of some of the city's best architecture. Extra picture is of the lanterns in Albert Square.
