Miavaig mussels

There was great excitement in the house this morning when Mr hazelh discovered that the mussels that he had just bought from own fishmonger hail from Miavaig on the Isle of Lewis. This was noted on a label he found in the bottom of the bag that carried his purchase. Miavaig is just around the corner from Uig Sands, my favourite place in the whole wide world.

In other news it's been another long day at the interface, spent mainly preparing papers for a meeting on Friday and another next week. Meanwhile my email inbox is stuffed with 100+ messages again.
