Don't make marmalade in a stone cottage

or Christmas pudding. Anything that creates steam for a length of time. The emulsion paint is now bubbling off the window reveals in the kitchen.

Also, if you want to photograph the dark art of marmaladation, set the right ISO on your camera. You will note that there are no marmalade masterpieces in extras.

Making marmalade was never on my list of things to do before I hit 62, but I've had a go anyway. Its  ot finishes,the sugar adding ceremony is in the morning at 9am if anyone wants to pause a while and think of 3kg of sugar....
