Day 24 - Get it while you can

It's good to have a mission sometimes. Today's mission was to cram in as much skiing as we could before we needed to be back home and on-line by 11.30. So we set an alarm, got up early and were on the 8.30 lift from the village and had to wait for the second stage of the cable car to open at 9am. Or reward was deserted pistes, with about 10cm of fresh fluffy snow on them. Here's a picture of The Wife claiming some freshies. The other tracks in the picture were ours from the previous run down. After grabbing these easy runs we headed off to find deeper fresh snow and more challenging terrain, and once again St Gervais delivered the goods. We didn't stop to chat much, just kept skiing and chatted on the chairlifts. My timing was spot on, we pulled back into the garage with smiles on our faces and a bit of heat in our leg muscles at 11.29. Job done
