Spring thing

With all our warm weather (until this week, in the low 20s this morning), this jonquil are shooting up out of the ground.  I will be taking some pine straw to cover them over in hopes that they will hold off growing anymore until it gets warmer.  It is way too early for these..late February is the usual time that they bloom here.

The extra is the forsythia still blooming its tiny yellow flowers.. the frost the last 2 nights did not seem to hurt them!
