This structure is not safe

We were lucky that we avoided the worst of the floods last month, but you can still see its effects all around us - the back road from Burneside to the A6 is impassable (no short cut to Morrisons), the bridge in Staveley is closed (longer journey to get to the Post Office), bridge closures in Kendal means traffic chaos (difficult to get to choir), and there's little chance of getting to Keswick until spring!
