Packets of promise

Spent a wee bit of time tonight thinking about spring, and what we might grow in the allotment. This was triggered by reading Jim McColl's regular column in the local paper where he had a diagram from the Beechgrove vegetable garden of many years ago. We've had a bit of a setback with our new polytunnel. Unfortunately it was a casualty of the recent gales before a single seed had been planted in it, so another has been ordered. Hopefully this one will survive the rigours of an Aberdeenshire winter. And won't take as long to put up as the last one, as we know the correct order of assembly!
