Ugliest building in Tranent

Former civic centre that housed local authority offices and services, which recently moved to a modern smaller building. The tower section is housing whilst the rear holds a couple of shop units. I've not been able to find out when this was built but architecturally it seems to date from the 1950s to 1970s when Brutalism was in vogue.
