Frozen Fungi

Gorgeous morning and decisions to be made: go up on another rising misty moor or down to the river.

The river won and l was spoiled for choice about which photograph to use today, really spoiled.

Why does it happen like that? Some days l struggle to find anything decent but on a day like today l could have selected anyone from a dozen of random and very differing shots.

I think that's what l like so much about this site, one photograph for one day. I know you can put extras on but l choose not to. Not that this decision is set in stone!

Think Mr P was glad for me to get out of his way. He's emulsioning the staircase today.

He's stoping soon as he's going to the 12.29 club ( don't ask! they made the name up ) with some friends for fish and chips at Murgatroyds near the airport.

While he's gone l'm going to give the kitchen a birthday!
Does anyone else use that expression? My mother often used to say that when she was going to give an area a deep clean.
Don't think I've said it for a long time (probably because l hate cleaning) but as the sun streamed through the window the phrase popped into my head.
