Frost and Squirrels

Thanks so much for all the lovely comments hearts and stars for yesterday's Tiny Dewdrops. It' made it to page 2 of Popular. Really thrilled as I do find macro photography quite a challenge.

We had a much heavier frost overnight, so me and TheAphid went down the track early again. It was magical with even the Blackthorn bushes covered in frost, see extra. 
The squirrels were about but I didn't manage to get any decent shots as it was still too dark. I went out again a couple of hours later after I'd thawed out and managed to capture this red in a typical squirrel pose. I've been wanting to get a shot like this for ages, just a shame about the blurred branch in the corner.
