Kayaking the Columbia

The last time Rob and I went kayaking, we capsized in about three feet of water. Somehow, we haven't gone since then. But today was a perfect day, hot in the city, cool on the river. We put in at Ridgefield and paddled out to the mouth of the Lewis River, right across from the tip of Sauvies Island. Lovely.
