Chilly

A day of working from home wrestling with a persistent and knotty work related problem. Walked the dog at lunchtime for some air and headspace. It was cold and still. The mist and murk were lying low on the river.

This footbridge was opened in 1935. Before that a small passenger ferry took people between Stirling and Cambuskenneth. It sounds romantic to be ferried over the river but I believe the service and boats were the subject of many complaints.
