Old City of Zadar

Arrived safely last night (note to self: never use Ryanair ever again). Somehow this airline makes you feel like their adversary rather than their valued customer!! We were meant to be joined by the daughter of good friends but Ryanair cancelled the flight at the last second, without explanation. So it looks like Andie will have to wait for another week before joining us back in Scotland.
Had a walk around the old town of Zadar before picking up our boat for the week. Some of the ok city dates from 9th Century. Very nice place to wander around - only problem is they have innumerable shops and market stalls - fortunately no.1 son and I managed to find bar in the shade to chill in whilst girls did the shops!
