Growing in the Glass House

A good walk today along a different part of the Forth and Clyde Canal and part of the River Kelvin. Weather rather dull, damp and grey but not bad enough to send L and I home before our feet and knees were a bit weary. We ended up, unexpectedly,  in the Botanic Gardens where we enjoyed a lovely bowl of soup before setting out on our reurn journey to find the car, which we did eventually! 
We had a quick visit to the glass houses in the botanics but it's not the best time for a visit.  I think this flower will open out into a beautiful hibiscus.
